The Institute for Christian Training website provides free online resources, as well as information about a range of courses.

The Institute offers individual Christians and congregations opportunities to fulfil four key aspirations:

Although our activities are primarily intended for members of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, our courses and resources are open to anyone who wishes to grow in his or her Christian faith and develop personal gifts and skills. While many of our activities take place at Union Theological College, we offer courses at other venues, usually in conjunction with local presbyteries and congregations.

Many of our courses are run in partnership with other agencies, from both within and outside the Presbyterian Church. Evening classes for youth workers and Sunday school teachers are offered through the Board of Youth and Children's Ministry. Counselling courses are held in conjunction with Christian Guidelines.
